At their physical office location (Edge site), Tenant 1 maintains:

• 10 Windows Workstations – Used for daily business operations.
• 4 Windows Servers, supporting:
  • Active Directory / Domain Services
  • Financial Accounting Application Server
  • File Server
  • Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Integration with various IoT devices for business-specific functions.

☁️ Cloud & Web Services

• DigitalOcean Cloud:
  Tenant 1 utilizes several droplets (virtual machines) for:
  • API services
  • Batch processing jobs
  • A JavaScript-based web application
    These services are publicly accessible via the Internet.
• Web Hosting (Third-Party Provider):
  Tenant 1’s primary domain, tenant1.com, is hosted externally and includes:
  • A Production Website
  • A Development Website
    Both environments are accessible over the public internet and managed independently from their core infrastructure.

Post-Migration State for Tenant 1

Following the successful migration, Tenant 1 now operates in a fully cloud-integrated environment with enhanced security, performance, and manageability.

• Edge Office Infrastructure
  The Edge office no longer hosts any physical servers, aside from the Ecokube Edge Cloud Gateway Appliance, which provides essential local services and secure connectivity to the cloud.
• Application & Workload Modernization
  All previous DigitalOcean droplets have been containerized and migrated to the Ecokube Cloud Kubernetes platform, deployed in either shared or dedicated clusters depending on the customer’s requirements.
• Website Hosting & DevOps Pipeline
  Both production and development instances of the Tenant1.com website have been migrated to the Ecokube Cloud. This includes integration of a CI/CD pipeline for streamlined development and deployment processes.
• Secure Internal Cloud Connectivity
  Secure internal network connectivity has been established, enabling seamless and private access to all core services hosted in the cloud.
• Intelligent Monitoring & AI Operations
  The Ecokube Operations Center, in conjunction with external monitoring agents, provides end-to-end AI-driven monitoring and analytics across all services and infrastructure.
• Flexible Multi-Cloud Backend
  The cloud backend is fully adaptable, supporting deployment on AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure, based on customer preferences or compliance needs.

We ship and install our Ecokube Edge Cloud Gateway at your site— a smart, compact device that brings cloud services right to your office edge. It comes preloaded with essential services to support your operations on-site while syncing seamlessly with the cloud. (It will be available free off charge till contract termination )
